Puffer Dentistry for small puffers
Last night I moved all the South American Puffers from one tank to another. I took the opportunity to clip their teeth since I had them out of the tank anyway. I finally got the ratio of MS-222 to water so that the puffer goes under in about a minute. All the times prior to last night, it took about 10 minutes, so I wanted to document and share this info.

How can I naturally soften my water?
Here are a few options:
- Collect rainwater after its rained a bit (unless you fear pollution in your area or have a new roof). It's free and naturally soft and usually a bit acidic. Mix with a little tap water and you should have what you want;
- Buy RO water and mix with a little tap water and you will have ideal water;
- Buy high quality peat that the manufacturer lists as having a low pH value (check the bag -- usually only large bags say this - or call the company to check the acidity).

Bumblebee Cichlid (Pseudotropheus Crabro)
Common Name: Bumblebee Cichlid, Hornet Cichlid
Scientific Name: Pseudotropheus Crabro
If you are looking for an extremely dominant, aggressive cichlid, this is the fish for you. Despite it's aggressive disposition, it's a great fish but it's best to have a lot of rockwork and caves to allow other fish to escape.

Signs of vitamin deficiency in fish
Something we don't hear about often, but is important is the need for adequate vitamins delivered to your fish via either food or added to the water column. Depletion of the body storage of any single vitamin can be responsible for specific or general disease signs. ... -

How to delete an attachment
There are many reasons you will want to be able to manage your attachments on HFB. It is actually quite simple if you know where to look. This article will show you how to delete your attachments. You can also check how much disk space you have left for future attachments.
1. First, either click the 'Settings' link in the upper right hand corner, or 'Edit Profile' on the Forum Actions drop down menu. Both options will get you to the right place.

African Scat (Scatophagus tetracanthus)
The African Scat is a beautiful Scatophagus, with a yellow base body color and 7 black vertical bars. It is rare to see this scat in the hobby, which I find confusing since it is also the only scat to thrive in freshwater as an adult.
