How big are the A. cacatuoides?

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't everyone buy the triple reds if they are the most colorful? I don't know much about this fish.

the apistos are 1".the triple reds are an aquarium strain.lots of people like them and work with them.others think they are a curse.some think that any aquarium strain will work its way to the next albino longfin veiltail telescope eyed balloon parrot catfish.
