It's schist(sp?). Looks kind of like petrified wood but it's not. Comes in 3 or 4 colors - I got it from Alamo stone on kirkwood. If you're intested in the stone (or any others) PM me and i can save you some money.180 - reef

I have a variety called Potomac schist that I also got from Alamo Stone. It's green, and it's pretty interesting looking. It's definitely a nice variation, and something just a little bit different.
