***New** HFB Benefit!!!

SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!!

The benefit will start around noon-ish and last until the keg floats. Please make sure you bring some CASH with you, because even though we'd love for to come and JUST hang out, the idea was to raise money for the HFB. Dan will be donating a ton of fish for everybody (i helped move a bunch of them today and there are some pretty awesome fish up for grabs) and there will be plenty of food.

Plates are going to be $8 and that includes grilled catfish, hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans and potato salad...oh and did i mention BEER!!
There is a 60g tank up for auction as well.

AND DONT FORGET...EVERY SINGLE PENNY WE RAISE IS GOING TO HELP PAY FOR ALL THE THINGS THAT KEEP THIS WONDERFUL SITE A FLOAT.

I only got to go for a little bit, but it was fun. I like how clean HAW is, and Mr. Dan's fish are awsome!

Dan...thanks for hosting and for the donations, and newb, thanks for organizing. I had never been to HAW before and I was very impressed. It was a good turnout and I hope we raised a lot of money for Traci to help out with the costs of running the Fishbox.

Thank you everybody that came out and donated and helped out "the geeks". It was a really cool day today. I got to meet alot of new faces and had a beer with a few familiar faces.

Me, Newb and Dan were really pleased with the turnout and all the great donations everybody made.

The words 'Thank You' just don't feel like enough to express how much is means to me that all of you came out today. And Dan...you are an amazing man to open your store to allow us all to get together and enjoy each other and oogle your beautiful fish, not to mention all the fish, the tank, and all the food you donated to make this day possible. Thank you for all the donations and everyone's generosity was overwhelming! I can't think of a better group of people to spend a gorgeous Sunday with.

Your welcome! Someone needed to take home the fish. Btw a condition of me letting you have them is that you have to post pictures of the Fire eels and Cnetopoma once they are settled. :)


I had a really fun time! I'm glad I went. I had two plates of the wonderful food and a little cake. I did quite a bit of donating, though I didn't bring anything home. And I tried my best to not be so shy and talk to people.
I met Dan, the geeks, Frontosaurus Rex, Newb, Steve, Chong, Nick, Delock, and a couple others I can't remember their names. I did wish though that we had had some ruffage to go with all the meat. It was all really delicious, but my stomach isn't to happy. Maybe if we have another one of these I'll bring some veggie and fruit trays.

Hey, I don't remember who won the tank but you need to start a thread. Post pictures when you start setting it up! We all want to see!
