Had a great time meeting a few new faces and seeing the same old faces. Thanks Dan, Newb, and Front for putting it on. Also a big thanks to Traci for keeping this crazy place running hope we made a little extra coin for you. I did have a bad incident when I got back home my wet/dry tubing popped off and the pump sprayed probably 30 gallons of water on the floor of my fish room spent all night cleaning that up.

I had a great time meeting all you guys yesterday! Thanks everyone for setting and hosting the event. Like I said, I just moved into town and hopefully will see more of you guys at the upcoming events. I brought some fish in, and I am happy to see that they found good homes right away. :)

My computer is still not working (needs a new power supply, which has been ordered and is on the way) so sorry I haven't been giving any updates.

Well, I guess I don't really have any updates. The tank is sitting at my house with water in it, but I need to touch base with you guys and get some help on what to do to get it started as a planted tank. I guess I'll start another thread for it, but for now, here are a few pictures of where it lives now...


It actually works perfectly in that room, I'm really happy with it :)


O, and I took the picture with my back up against one of the 150 gal tanks, so you can see both of them if you're in either of the chairs in the picture, which is nice

If you start a new thread in the planted fish tank section you will have plenty of plant gurus to help you out. This is exciting! I love planted tanks. Keep us updated and post lots of pictures!

You going to run C02? If you do that you would need lighting and take off those glass tops. I say do tetra with Angels or Discus. I do angels cause they are easier and cheapier than discus, but discus are beautiful. Add in some ottos, cories, gourami, dwarf crawfish, striped loaches to keep the snails down. There's alot you could put in that tank.

I had fun, drank some beer, donated some money, met some cool people. Weather was perfect. Should do it bi-annual, again in the fall when the weather cools down again.
