Just wanted to give everyone the heads up.....stopped by this weekend and there was a tank full of Nerite snails! Priced less then a buck!

Thanks for the fish and advice setting up the tank. My fish/tank is doing great. It's alway nice to see a true hobbyist running a store the way it should be.

We went by today to check it out. Dan was very friendly. I'm very old fashioned and believe in firm hand shakes and genuine greetings. He possessed both. We didn't buy, but his hospitality will surely have us back.

Oh, this was the middle of the day.. Maybe around 1ish? I had the wife & kid with me. We went on a little LFS crawl. We hit Xtreme, Fish Ranch (Sharpstown), HAW, and then TNT before heading home. I hate to brag, but living on the SW side has its advantages!

If I didn't have a kid & pets I would agree 100%. My wife works downtown, I work part-time in Midtown, and we love the atmosphere.

Went by HAW on sunday with the girl friend and I was very impressed with the setups as well as with Dan's knowledge and genuine desire to teach others. I must have spent almost an hour talking to him and browsing around and would prob been longer if the g/f was not whining ha. Anyways big thanks to Dan, looks like the root tabs did the trick the plants look great!

yup.  I pick up some nice dwarf neon rainbows today.  Algae fighting crew Nerite snail and Otos are plenty in stock!  Wall of discus are awesome like always too.

Yeah Nerite's can eat their weight in algae it seems like.
They have done some major damage to the algae growth in my tank :)
