Dan has got in dwarf Indian puffers (Tetraodon travancoricus) in. They look sweet.

I was in town this weekend so I decided to swing by Dan's shop.

I was really impressed.  Both with the shop and with Dan himself.

He has a growing collection of fish with lots of room for more.  He has some great rare stuff and lots of plants.  Wonderful prices and all the fish looked really healthy.

Even though I wasn't planning on buying anything because I was so far from home I couldn't leave without some of those apistos.

Thanks for the confirmation of what so many others have expressed evan......I'm looking forward to meeting Dan and checking out his shop someday soon.

I took a road trip from Baton Rouge, LA to pick up my T's from Mike in College Station. While I was in Houston, I stopped by Dan's. Ended up leaving with a vampire pleco. He is good people.

Nice setup at the store. Too bad the T's didn't come in yet

I love that he does carry the more rare items in stock and that alone helps alot when you go searching out there for interesting things :)

I stopped by HAW today and was pleasantly suprised. The store and tanks were really clean. I did not see a single dead fish in any of the tanks, and all of the fish looked extremely healthy. I really enjoyed talking with Dan and after I left I felt like I had been knowing him for years. All tanks were labeled  with the name of the fish and the price. (this is always a plus)
He also has Eheim 2217 for $120.00 (WOW !!!!) No other fish store can or will come close to that price. Dan told me that he likes to keep everything at internet prices. He will even order items for you at internet prices. I ordered a 5.lb bucket of NLS Thera A , which Dan said that once he gets all his fish in stock, he will permenately stock 5.lb buckets of NLS. This is my kind of store !!! I ended up leaving with some of the Apistos and an order for NLS.

I totally agree... Zulaab. I can't wait till he gets some more Apistos. I wanted the "Apistogramma cacatuoides", but he only had three males left.

Well I finally got a chance to visit with Dan and see his place and I have to say "two thumbs up"! I brought a friend with me and we were only going to get some dwarf puffers. Yeah right! We ended up getting a lot more. We were both very impressed with the store and we loved the dog (such a sweetie). It was well worth the trip. Also we learned alot from Dan. We had a great visit and we will definitely go back.  On the way home we were already talking about our next trip.

Just wanted to say thanks for everything. We both had a great time. We didn't even realize that we were there for almost two hours. The time just flew by. We really enjoyed talking to you and when I get ready to get serious about my planted tank with the co2 and all I'll be sure to pay you another visit. Thanks again.
