I don't like the fact that he slacks on maintenance either, but if you guys don't give him business, the entire Asian community will, he has no problems with Asian business owners walking in there buying $2-300 Flowerhorns from him. If he ever comes across this he would just brush you guys off. Not to mention he has one of the biggest FW stock in town. I know him, and I know people who know him very well, and trust me he isn't hurting.


p.s. I'm not favoring him. Infact I hardly ever buy any livestock there. And supplies once in awhile.

I was kinda waiting to say something but I guess it's okay to chime in. I was in there last week to trade in a fish. First of all, when I called him (Truong) before I went up there we discussed what I was trading in and what I was looking to get for it. He said he had no problem giving me what I was looking for in trade value and I thought we were set. When I got up there though the offer drastically dropped. While I will say that he had an awesome selection of oddballs some of his prices were through the roof. Also, Many of the tanks had no prices and he was quoting different prices to different people. I had my father with me and we both queried him separately on different items and got different answers. And while I can attest that many of the tanks had sick and dead fish, I will say that his show tanks on the ends were near immaculate. I would also suggest that he cut back his flowerhorn and arrowana selection for some better variety, but he obviously does well enough on his own w/o my opinions. Oh,I didn't notice it in store but the 2 fish I got for my trade in had ich. If this were school I'd have to give him a D, if only for his awesome show tanks, oddball selection and prices on equipment. The store has some good potential though.

me and my brother really like XFP. Its usually my number one stop. Everyone is always nice and helpful, the store is always clean. If they had a bad outbreak, i'm sure they'll fix it. Nobody in the store seems lazy or like they dont care. Plus, they have the best selection and price on food and chemicals.
