I had the same experience in that store....He was very rude and told me to get out so he could go to lunch. Why bother having a retail store if you hate customers?

I think this is the store I call asking for harlequin rasboras. The guy didn't know what I was talking about. Then he just said we have it next week in a angry tone and hung up the phone on me. Luckily I didn't make a trip over there or bought any fish from him.

just thought i would mention that i too was told to leave so this guy could "go to lunch." he also insisted on knowing what we were looking for until we finally felt pressured to just answer anything. we said we were looking for celestial goldfish since we are always looking for one and he told us we were waasting our time and gas and should just stay home. then he said he had to go to lunch.

im glad everyone else had the same experience. we could not even believe what happened. it was the most ridiculous scene i had ever witnessed. most disgusting tanks ever, not an inch of room to move around and then to be thrown out??? it was like a bad seinfeld episode.

I too went to Discount Tropical Fish and met the guy. I thought it was just me but apparently not. It is really disgusting that he had carpeting in a fish aquarium store. I bet there is mold in places never seen before. And he also rushed us and plus tanks were very dirty and you could hardly see inside them.
