    Re: Fish Gallery

I would be catious about purchasing frozens from them for now....when they moved I saw the freezer full of sweaty(thawed) pkgs.

pretty cool there, they have celestial pearl danios at a decent price and they usually have nice shrimp. The staff is really nice for the most part.

ek, I threw away 2 cubed packs of frozen brine shrimp that I bought on the day they moved.  I bought some daphnia that is okay and some flat packs of krill from a new shipment.........no problems.

I think thawed food is what killed a few of my moba fry.

Sorry to hear that Ron, I wanted to buy some treats for my mobas and they usually have the better selection but it also happen to be the time of their move so I waited.

Luis Navarro did give me some new food that seachem is putting out.....moist canned mealworms and krill which my mobas love!

They are expensive on many things... not on others. The key is finding those other things.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Ok guys. Decided to go back and give FG another chance. Want to say, I had a pleasant experience today. Don and Chris were very helpful. I restocked on goodieds today. I let the young guy with the spiky hair to tell Omar that I was pleased.

I was just in Fish Gallery yesterday, and had a great shopping experience, picked up some filtration materials and everything, and I realized that this was starting to become my second favorite fish store, when it had been my least favorite last year. The staff has become really pleasant, and I am always waited on in a timely fashion, and get my questions answered.

I mentioned this to the person at the counter, and how I used to hate shopping there, and they had actually read my post over on the GHAC thread on this. I told them how much I appreciate the improved customer service.

So I thought I would post here, as a way of balancing out my previous bad opinion.

I was in Fish Gallery this afternoon and also had a good experience today. Some days I go in and leave with a bad taste in my mouth...but for the most part an overall good store. I actually caught a pretty good deal on some ember tetras this afternoon and my girlfriend got hooked MBU puffers! If any staff from FG reads this, I would to say thank you for the great customer service today, and I hope this continues in the future.

I've never had a bad experience in Fish Gallery. They're just more expensive than everyone else, which is discouraging.

Their prices are now a lot more competitive for the quality and not so common fish!

They got in some Red neon gobies or whatever that are awesome! Also picked up now two wicked cool triggers!

Yeah, I just got one of the red neon gobies. They said it eats algae, so I thought I would give it a try.

I watched the one in their display tank... it grasped algae like my Petrochromis does!
