This is a never ending battle, but you think that administrators of this web site would be more professional in the way they respond to an opion or comment. Sometimes it looks like to me that they try to stir things up. that is my opion.

As for battle... I don't see it as a battle and honestly anyone who is able to give one's opinion should be able to take it the same way. There's two sides to everything and from what I have seen everything here has been kept civil.  Everyone on here posted their opinion about a retailer being Extreme.... now some on here went even further to give opinions about the livestock from the retailer's wholesaler.


Along with the opinions there is also truth about what goes on and honestly if someone can't handle either hearing the truth or accepting that others have opinions just like themself then I think some self evaluation needs to be done before one can pass judgement and deem another "professional" or not.



oldgeezer... you brought the thread back to life and honestly it sparked discussion. No personal attacks, No attacks on the retailer.... healthy discussion. Now if you feel that you need to be defensive or defend a position for whatever reason then just say so.

I don't see the need for this to go on. I've been to Truong's store many times,and -although I never bought anything- found his store worth returning to time and time again.

It isn't a secret that some of his stock comes from Old World. I don't think is a secret that Old World has their own website with a stocklist. Truong buys fish and marks them up. There is nothing wrong with that. If you inspect the fish and deem them healthy, and you are willing to pay whatever price is agreed upon, then you are a satisfied customer. Every LFS needs those. If not, then don't buy from him.

Now think about this.... this is the new day and age, A forum is a place where a group of people with similar interest SHARE their knowledge, opinions, experiences, questions, etc. Now if everything was one sided do you think there is growth? Do you think there is a point in wasting time keeping a forum up and going if everyone is going to agree with everything?

I don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about where their fish come from.  If they're nice, pretty, and healthy, and you like them whats the big deal?!
