This is a rather new store, in a not so great location that is far too easy to miss.

Twice now I have had a big problem that couldn't wait for mail deliveries, requiring parts or medications that I figured I'd have to run all over town to find. But, here, right in my backyard, nearly, I fould that Tropical fish and & Pets not only had what I needed, but the price was really fair.

I'd say they are worth calling if you need something and you are in the NW part of Houston.

They recently changed owners and Kevin, the go to guy is not there no more.

I hardly buy any normal LFS fish but I would go there just to shoot the sh** with Kevin. Everyone I have sent over there has left there with nothing nice to say about them.

The new owner is pretty cool too (Kevin's uncle).

yeah i recently got a great price on a new guinea tiger fish. 25 bucks. on the flips side.. the new owner doesnt keep the tanks too clean, looks like a lot of over feeding.

They had small clown loaches for $2.99 about a month or so ago.
