geoff is soooooo right about that tv addiction he has there.....cichlidfan and i have been there a couple of times and he wouldn't leave the dang thing to even say hello or anything.....and god forbid you ask him a question to distract him from it....sheesh....but i will tell you this much i have seen them emptying alot and i mean alot of dead fish out of their tanks both times we were there.....it was a shame....they had a bucket on the floor by the door that leads to the koi area and it was full of dead fish......big giant plecos to numerous sized cichlids.....so beware of the poor fish quality they have there....and remember....."STAY AWAY FROM THE TV"....

They have nice Live rock for salt water.....about it really.

Last time I was there killing time and asked to see a Milwaukee instrument which was in a locked glass case and the guy told me he would be there in a second....after the TV show was over....then he tells me that it's probably not for sale since it didn't have a price tag.

Stopped by since I was down the street after eating.

DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAD ANYTHING TO EAT PRIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fiance just about gawk up breakfast and me being the avid fish guy trying to snag a deal held my breath and went through.

Everything is either dead or on the way......there is a generator running about 1/5 of the tanks and the tv.....THAT'S IT!!

No real deals to be had from what I was able to see.

Its obvious they are closing........the last time I was there prior to this one they had the electricity cut off on them, probably cause they couldn't pay the bills? Now there's a generator running part of the store?

I wonder if there would be any deals to be had if they are closing soon.  I'm referring to the store tanks.   Do you think there will be another Fish Depot like sale?

All their tanks were std 29g's I think.....except for the SW which I think was 30L.... The smell was unbearable and it's still "open" I would hate to smell it once it really goes stale...

I went to this place about 4 months ago. Selection was poor, and a lot of dead fish in dirty tanks. Guy was lued to the telly, and never even acknowledged my arrival or departure.

A buddy of mine called me to say they were going out of business, and were selling everything off cheap, but honestly I couldn't thinkof anything I would want from there! If they look after everything like they did their fish, I don't want it!

man none of you trusted me on my original post? I went there before because I used to live at the apartments across the street and said I wasnt going to go again after one of the fish I got gave my others some disease and killed half my stock.

Well I knew of their track record long time ago since the fiance's parent's house as well as a few of my buddies lives down the street from there, just went to try and snag some cheap stuff.

40% off of 100% mark up is about 20% higher then almost everyone else.

It is a good thing this place finally went out of business.  This is the kind of store that gives a locally owned fish store a bad reputation and drives people to Pest/mart/co for their fish keeping needs.  What a shame
