you misunderstood me i was not saying fish gallery is a nice store for sw selection, i was stating that fish gallery has the nicest kept store for cleanliness. fg is the nicest to look at fish store in Houston i go to all stores in town fr2, city pets, etc. and yes fg is the nicest store by far. its not the store i shop at(very rare i go there) but if i were to own a store i would hope it looks as nice as fg.


just so you know i was giving two thumbs up to T&T for having very nice store, very nice selection, and being very helpful.

I tend to agree.  I don't have an opinion on their SW selection since I'm a FW girl, but the store is always clean, and I can't remember a single time I've been in there when I've had to hunt down someone to help me.  Very nice folks.

No, and I'm always looking for unique plecos.  In fact, I barely even saw any standard plecos today.  City Pets is the only LFS I've been to that had a variety of plecos, but I haven't covered the city.  I'll be sure to give you a shout if I run across any though.   :)

Fish gallery on occasion has some unique plecos.  I bought a pair of L183's there a while back - shortly after they opened their new store.  Unfortunately the male passed away shortly afterwards - no clue as to why, everyone else in teh tank was just fine.  Went back to get another and didn't see any and haven't seen any since.  Now I have a lonely female who could sure use some male companionship.  If you happen to find any, let me know.  They're also called:  Starlight bristlenose, White Seam and maybe some other names.
