    Where to go for Store Credit for fish

    Out of curiousity, where can you go to return fish once they have either gotten to big to take of for store credit? mine havent yet but I wondering if it was possible?

    What type of fish are they? You arent going to get the best deal by trading fish in at a LFS.

    Advertise them for sale on here or craigslist when your ready to sell.

      believe best way to get the most for your bucks would be to offer them up for sale here.  

      Many have large tanks and /or ponds and love the big stuff!!  

      some stores will let you trade for a small version of your fish for the big but generally not very good on credit value.

        *kicks the dirt* Mike's used to be good for taking in fish that quit fittin in the tanks  
        5.5 fw fluval chi - class N top bar snake chested endlers/ red marble bn/ 4 stripe RCS/ pumpkin shrimp
        20 sw cube - a few damsels and a colony of bristleworms
        29 fw - self cloning crayfish..which can't seem to clone haha
        29 fw - mollies / albino bristlenose / ghost shrimp and snowball shrimp/ glo danios
        29 fw - crs/ amano/tiger shrimp /assassins/ whiptails/ plants/ 3 emerald cories
        55 fw - steatocranus casaurius (20ish)/ tetras/ rainbows/large Jack Dempsey
        75 fw - large Jack Dempseys / pictus cat/ yoyo loach/ Red gippicep        / 10+" oscar/ parrot

          Fish Gallery will give store credit - not sure how much of a percentage.

          Fish Ranch II will give 1/3 the selling price in store credit - 15.00 fish = 5.00 in store credit.

            1/3 is not a bad deal for a hobbyist.
