After searching for the most effective, clean looking, and cheapest way, to keep my fry tanks clean, I came up with this. Whats great about this Sponge filter is that it has ALOT of Surface area for water flow, meaning you can push alot of water through it without sucking up the fry. I use this design on all my fry tanks and it works wonders.

What's the diameter of the pipe opening?  Will this fit on a powerhead?

I use 1" pvc T's on mine for the air to come up in one and water to flow through the other that fits perfect, Im sure you can get a 1" pvc adapter at Home Depot that would make that work.

Wow, that spong filter looks great, i need to come by there to get one. Ill be in that area tomorrow, i think i'll stop by, it looks like it would work great for when my bettas breed. Its s good price too.
