    Re: Oct. swap n sell

I would like to thank everyone who came out for the BBQ today. I know with the airshow in town and FOTAS and the myraid of other events taking place this weekend it was a tough decision to risk the weather for our event. I must say I enjoyed myself immensley and enjoyed seeing some new faces.
Again, thank you all for making our first BBQ a huge success.

          Re: Oct. swap n sell

yes its well planted now  :)
Well i got myself a powerhead like scott suggested and have 3 powerade bottles hooked upto it. I also have the heaters installed.

How long do you think before i transfer my fish to the 50?
The filter came off the 29 gallon, so it should have the nitrifiers in it already, theres also some decorations that were taken out of the 29.

            Re: Oct. swap n sell

How long has the tank been running with the filter from the other tank? If it's been over a week, that would be long enough for me. I'd do a chemical check first, just to make sure the levels look ok. Then I'd probably start off with the hardiest fish first.
Just me though. Anyone else got 2 cents for this?

                Re: Oct. swap n sell

I'm such a bone head, this place is literally about 4 minutes from my house, I couldn't find the directions last night and wrote down the wrong phone number for Scott to call him this morning.

Of course as soon as I log on tonight I immediatly see the right number and a map to his driveway. I really need to get a modem for my home computer.

I'll make the next meet though, promise, I really would have been there to this one but I'm just too scatterbrained to think right sometimes.

i had a blast as always. hopefully Scott has enough plants now for a bit fo r that tank. and thanks a whole lot for showing the girlfriend the puffer now she wants one and of course if i even find one i have no where to put it. i can blame Debbie for that one. but anyway, thank you soooo soo much for having us. it was a blast as always. and the food was great.

I second that. Thanks for the hospitality and grub. They were both great! and you're fish room is out of control(in a good way). Nice job!
