I can bring Rotel dip and some pico de gallo. Will there be a pit or something to cook on? We could always just bring cold stuff and snack out.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Uh no. I did not go to the prom back then (instead went to see Depeche Mode and OMD in concert) and I'm sure NOT running for prom queen NOW!

I have never been to a meeting. What goes on? I just had emergency surgery so I am sore now, but should be alot better by this weekend.

You should come. GHAC meetings are a lot of fun. In short, a bunch of fish nerds gather once a month to hang out together, talk and see old friends. We usually have a cook out where people bring food and we grill. The meeting itself lasts about an hour, and then after that we just hang and sit and talk. Many of these little gatherings have lasted past midnight, but the meeting part is usually over by 8pm when people start wanting to eat, drink and talk about fish :)

Well, the meeting doesn't last an HOUR, usually. Elections are coming up, and that might take longer, but we usually aim for about a 15 minute meeting, then the "event," which is either a raffle or a mini-auction, takes place. Its length depends on how many items are brought. Then on to the festivities! You can look at photos of our past meetings at www.myghac.org. So much fun! Anyone is welcome - you don't have to be a member. We have also had a few people attend who don't even keep fish!
