Well I have a single tube light fixture that came with my 135g which is a 6' tank. There are two lights that go over the tank but only one works which is about half the length of the tank.
I would like to attend the swap meet but haven't been to one before. Can someone post how to get there. I checked the LHA listings and found the map but no indication of the exact location.
I have gold marble angelfish, about half dollar size. Also, if anyone is interested gold and silver veils about nickel size.
Scott has the general directions to his house posted, so im sure he wont mind me posting it here.
I dont know where your coming from so i'll start from Highway 59 and Beltway 8(North).
Take 59 North, Exit 1960 East.
Follow 1960 for about 10 miles(You'll go over a bridge over Lake Houston).
Turn LEFT on FM 2100.
Go down 3 traffic lights and turn LEFT on the 3rd light.(HARVARD RD)
You'll turn LEFT almost straight away onto WILDWOOD LANE.
The house is just down the road on the right hand side.
I forget the number but there should be several cars parked outside, and he has a garage on the right side of his property.
You can bring your fish bagged or if larger fish in a bucket, but be prepared to include your bucket in the sale or trade. Power is available. ?There are some tables and seats, but you might want to bring a chair for yourself in case there is standing room only.
The first one I went to, I brought a folding table and two small tanks with aerators in them. The water I brought from home in a large container.
Most bring their there fish and plants bagged.
It is a place to sell or swap, but also a social gathering. I try to attend every one when I can.
Awesome time. Relaxing and easy folks to chat with. Very pleasant people. We enjoyed it. It was nice to keep a 100% of what you sell for a change.
Scott, sweet spread. That was pretty amazing!! I will get in touch with you about the two 20L I got. You can unload a 110g on me. I will bring your wife a jar of snails for Franswa. Hopefully the ones I got will fill his belly and they are the ones he likes.
Thanks again for having us over looking forward to seeing you again.
