Ok, so there are apparently 3 vacant spots now guys.
Come and get them.
WAIT JUST A SECOND, THERE! I'm still going, but I am thinking that Geoff can't come along.
We are "officially" starting move-in on November 1st. Every single weekend from now until January is booked for us. So, we had to choose the Zoo Tour weekend. I'm still going, though! I wouldn't miss it! I'll just go help all that I can after the tour.
Could you post the details on here, Nick? Times, etc? I didn't hear you talk about it at the meeting Saturday...
I may yet still go, if I get tanks moved in Auction Weekend.
I may also get tanks moved in Sunday after the Tour.
I will know more VERY soon.

Sorry, was told by Zoo staff no infants on the tour due to liability issues. No exceptions to the no children under 6 years old allowed on the tour. May I remind everyone that this is the rule per the Houston Zoo and not me, so I cannot make exceptions.
Ok, for those of you who were not at the meeting (or not paying attention), here are the details.
We are to meet at the main gate of the Houston Zoo (the one with the parking lot, not the one by Ben Taub Hospital), Saturday November 14, 2009. George Brandy from the Houston Zoo will meet us at the front gate and the tour will start at 10 am. Please show up a little early because you may not be able to enter the tour if you are late. TECHNICALLY, although the tour is free, this does not include Zoo admission. HOWEVER, the aquarium exits into the Zoo, so Jane Block (who donates $$$ to the zoo and is the one I thank for helping me get this started) said do as you please. Kinda a don't ask, don't tell situation. Any questions?
how long is the tour Nick? Sorry if you already posted this, but I need some quick info..

Nick, you should update the first post with the new info, I think it would be good to also have a master list/count of who all is going there as well, so there is an easy way to check and see if there are open spots or if we are maxed out etc...
