What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
I'll be there! Its been too long since I've been to fshfrk's place. . .
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
As mzungu and Nickintex have mentioned, the meeting is for the monthly meeting for the Greater Houston Aquarium Club.
A little bit of history on the GHAC: The club was formed in the garage of an avid fish-fanatic. Fish enthusiasts from the Kingwood/Humble/Huffman area gathered once a month with one vision in mind: to enjoy fish. Through interaction on the HoustonFishBox, it was determined that the entire Greater Houston area would benefit from such a club. And thus it came to be. On the balmy evening of October 19th 2007, the GHAC held its first official meeting. Individuals, couples, and families from all over the city met at Mike’s Tropical Fish and Pets. Thus it came to be . . . fish enthusiast from all over southeast Texas gather to share stories and admire fish.
I can attribute a good deal of my knowledge to information shared at these meetings. Feel free to join us, especially since it is on your side of town! We pretty much always have food and drinks available for everyone to enjoy.
