Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
Sorry I missed the party, sounds like a fun time was had by all. We (fishlady) and I, did get to meet Hanson77 briefly down in league city, and we did get to drive around in the rain quite a bit. I picked up a used W/D system from a Marsh Reef member in La Porte, and we also got to met some other nice LFS owners including Prosper and Shannon at Aqua Zoo. We liked the prices at Aqua Zoo and picked up a couple things, Prosper and Shannon were very nice people.
Over all a very nice day, hope we can make it to one of the clubs events soon.
Hanson77, It was a pleasure meeting you. Your German Red Fin is doing fine, although, he is submissive & hiding constatnly in my 125. He spends most of his time behind rocks.
Happy Father's Day.... to all you Dads.

cichlidfan is busy aquascaping today....i'll give him a shout and tell him to elaborate on just what he has in that big tank.....my favorite is a green terror i call him mr green jeans....he's gorgeous.....
Might want to be careful adding that docile German with a Green Terror. Of course in a 125, there should be plenty of areas for him to find refuge when the inevitable chasing ensues...LOL.
2 Cyclindricus - 1 is about 3 iches and the other is about 2 inches
2 White Calvus - both at about 2 inches
2 Compresiceps - 1 about 3", and the other is 2"
2 Pink cichlids about 1.5"
1 pair of Brevis in a sand bed in the middle of the tank.
3 Neolamprologus Bolencheri (I am not sure if indeed they are this variety, but they are some kind of shell dweller)
2 Juilechromis, one is colored like a Auratus, the other is darker - both are about 2.5"
1 Blue face brichardi bout 2"
1 Green Terror about 3.5"
and two sydontis cats of some kind ...not sure...
that's it.
The larger cylndricus and the larger compressicep seem to be the trouble makers at this point. The largest fish, the green terror, seems to be accepted by most everyone else and is not very agressive towards the others, but he likes to go where ever he wants too.

While all the fish may be getting along somewhat well right now, I would hesistate to keep the convicts and green terror in with everybody else. Although both are indeed hardy fish, they like softer water with a lower pH if memory serves me correct. In addition - A full grown green terror (10"+) may enjoy the shell dwellers a bit too much. You may want to check the name of your julie - as it is one that I am not familiar. Julies are atanganyikan fish whereas an Auratus is a Malawi fish.

I appreciate all the tips and advice, and I do intend to make some moves and or split up some fish from this current set up.
I also realize that this is not the thread to address this issue in, so I'll close on this subject for now and bring this scenario up for review at a later date in the appropriate forum.
Many Thanks
