Hmmm. Write orders to transfer all the pts to the appropriate areas OR/ICU med/surg whatever. Tell the attending on duty to go take a long break--promise you'll call them if something challenging comes up. Once they leave impersonate their voice, call the switchboard and tell them to place the ER on drive by status until further notice...
or maybe we'll just have to wait another month for that proffered but not produced pumpkin cheesecake--hopefully no cinnamon in that thing--I'm allergic. I might try to bake something next month as well.

Harry... I ended up having all your patients in the ER all night! It was a fiasco, as you can imagine, but everything ended up all right with them. But we did almost go on drive by status since the hospital was getting full.
As far as the pumpkin cheesecake goes, I'm sure I can tweak the recipe to make sure it doesn't have cinnamon!

Which group does/did the acronym HAW stand for? The only thing coming to my mind is Houston Aquarium Warehouse...but I've only been back in the hobby here in Houston for about a year and a half. Is it an inactive group?

I would also say that fish clubs are good outlet to keep from driving all your regular non-fishy friends crazy from hearing you chit chat about the wonders going on inside your tank(s) ad naseum--lol
