      Says the pot. . .
      Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Basically we all just catch up and there's good food (almost always involving a grill!) and drinks. We have the meeting part an hour or two into the night and then just hang out. People bring stuff for each other or just to sell off in general.

You won't be standing out. If you're open to meeting new people, we won't let you feel left out at all! Everyone is welcome, like armthehomeless said before. Feel free to bring a friend too if that would make you feel more comfortable.

              • I was planning on attending this meeting but can't find a sitter for the night. Would it be a problem if I were to bring my daughter with me? If so its not a big deal just thought I'd ask.

We've had kids before at the meeting, shouldn't be a problem. I'd ask the host, Brian (Darbex). Brian and Sonja have a little one also, but I'm not sure if he'll be there.

                  • Wow. I was just told about this from Sunny. This is really cool.
I am interested in coming if the Fish Gods permits me so.

                      Edit:
Seems like the Fish Gods do permit so. I can bring my smokey if anyone here wants to grill on it. Please let me know if you are so that I do bring it.
Thanks and look forward in meeting some of you folks on St. Pattys.
                      Cheers.

                      • I've brought my family many a time in the past. It's been my experience to bring a folding chair with you.

What happens to the stuff you donate? Do we buy it and the money gets donated to the club?

So if my algae mess is cleared up by then, I could donate some plant clippings? That would be a win/win/win!
