We have kids and they are more then welcome at our place at least, have been looking forward to meeting you. I grew up in Grangerland so I'm very familiar with the Porter area, especially any with great tank tastes!!!!

I really don't care to host since my scheduling is not so set in stone but if there isn't enough stops I will try to move things around and add my name to the hat if anyone cares to see my tanks.

Cool Deal, I have 2 confirmed and myself thus far. I'll hit you up once I get a better idea and give everyone a day to respond and I can hammer out a schedule.

oh and if anyone going on the crawl has any branchy manzanita or grapevine branches (think bonsai) and / or seiryu type small stones (for the base of the bonsai) that would be good for a centerpiece in a 21" x 12" x 17" aquarium then I am buying! also assassin snails...theres been a MTS sighting where I dont want one!

No manzanita, no extra Seiryu, but we have as many assassin snails as you want and will thank you for taking them...

I personally have never had them attack any snail larger then themselves (and all said they are fairly small), but your welcome to them if you'd like...

yessir! thats what i read as well, altho i did read a couple accounts of several ganging up on tylos...but nerites dont spend too much time down on the substrate where they are vulnerable.

I had some sizable tylo's in with them quite some time ago and they did fine, but they were 3"+. They don't appear to be able to attack them unless they can overwhelm the opening area and extract the other snail. I can concur that they in no shape eat plants and they do like to burrow. Mine have been cultivated in a 10 gallon planted tank for 3+ years.

If anyone happens to have any beginner level plants or plant clipping and is going to be on the tour I could really use some for setting up a new tank.
