We have kids and they are more then welcome at our place at least, have been looking forward to meeting you. I grew up in Grangerland so I'm very familiar with the Porter area, especially any with great tank tastes!!!!In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

oh and if anyone going on the crawl has any branchy manzanita or grapevine branches (think bonsai) and / or seiryu type small stones (for the base of the bonsai) that would be good for a centerpiece in a 21" x 12" x 17" aquarium then I am buying! also assassin snails...theres been a MTS sighting where I dont want one!75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

I personally have never had them attack any snail larger then themselves (and all said they are fairly small), but your welcome to them if you'd like...In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

yessir! thats what i read as well, altho i did read a couple accounts of several ganging up on tylos...but nerites dont spend too much time down on the substrate where they are vulnerable.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

I had some sizable tylo's in with them quite some time ago and they did fine, but they were 3"+. They don't appear to be able to attack them unless they can overwhelm the opening area and extract the other snail. I can concur that they in no shape eat plants and they do like to burrow. Mine have been cultivated in a 10 gallon planted tank for 3+ years. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
