GHAC October Meeting - Updated 10/23/07 with pics

Everyone is welcome to the first monthly meeting of the Greater Houston Aquatic Club.  

The date is October 19th, 2007 and will be held at Mike's Tropical Fish and Pets at 7pm.

Update!

There will be a Mini-Raffle similar to the raffle at the last meeting at Mike's place, except tickets will be a $1 each.  Mike will be donating items for the Raffle as well as some of the GHAC Officers.  Some items to expect are Holey Rock and Plants.  Donated items for the Raffle would be welcome!  All proceeds go to the Club's Fund.  GHAC is a not for profit organization.

Alot of people asked about this last time.  Snacks, drinks and Ice are welcome.  Mike has alot of chairs, but bring an extra one if you have one.

Is there anyway that we can add a GHAC forum to the fishbox? Its not needed to have one. However, I thought it would be a good idea so that we can easily find information on meetings and happenings in the GHAC.

I'm gonna be there along with Ricky. I'll probably be helping Mike set up, and I'm sure fans are totally welcome!! Some more for outside use would be nice to kinda keep the air moving around and not let the smoke build up too much. Yeah, there are some non-smokers who want to talk to you smokers LOL!

I plan to bring some sodas and some ice.  No promises, but maybe some nachos.  

The topic of this meeting will primarily to introduce the Club, the Officers and the direction of the Club.  We will be accepting memberships that night, just get a hold of Lorretta or one of the other officers.   Hint, we will be looking for a volunteer to head up the GHAC Newsletter.
