I am pretty sure the secretary is going to ask me to be her date for the night, so I'll see you there.....

that would make you rich, but only if it had to be taken all the time, oh yeah thats what they have now. anyway, what exactly would have to be covered in the newletter and how often would it need to be published, and would it be one through say email. If its email and around monthly i may be raising my hand for that position. Anything i can do to help the cause.

Re: GHAC October Meeting - Updated 10/10/07

I don't really have anything to donate for the raffle unless somebody wants a few baby apple snails, but I can make some suggestions of things I would kinda like to see there!!!

Live food cultures, green water cultures, maybe some scuds..., mossy plants, livebearers, Maybe some Cherry Shrimp, random equipment... Maybe a free membership into the club (I know it's only $5, but somebody could get a membership for $1 + it's for a good cause!)... I know y'all can get really creative! LOL! Also, somebody who just loves to clean tanks could donate a free monster-tank cleaning or something (I'm sure Mike would put tickets in for that!)!!!

I can help run the raffle if y'all want me to! I have done it several times at rabbit shows and there is a few tricks I have learned to make it easier on everyone! I don't really like dealing with the money part though so if someone would sell the tickets (I vote Virginia & Megan!!! ), I will set up the table(s) for the raffle items! (we are using a roll of tickets, right? because that would make the whole thing sooooooo much easier!) I guess somebody PM me if y'all want me to help with this stuff! I'll be at Mike's pretty much the whole day helping him out, so I really don't mind at all!

It's not too hard to make a donation to the raffle, and I bet we could raise a lot of money with this one if everyone brings one or two items! Maybe somebody can even DONATE the roll of tickets (I think you can get them at office supply stores or like Sam's)!!! Like I said, I can bring a few apple snails of 2 different species to donate if anyone is really interested!

              Feedback anyone?

That's what I'm talking about!  With this kind of interest and support, GHAC will grow in leaps and bounds.

Really? You think someone would want them? I can bring 3 brigs in 3 different colors...these are NOT LFS snails either! I bought them off of Aquabid from breeders to start my own colony, but I can spare a few for a good cause! I can also bring some Insularum species that I hatched from some clutches. They will eat plants, but they get as big as baseballs!!! They really are neat little tank cleaners! They will be around BB size, but they grow quickly.

Just to clear things a bit....this raffle is to donate to HFB to keep us online correct?

Sure wish we had an idea of what was needed to keep us up and going.

I think this raffle is for the GHAC running costs and initial setup costs.
