How exactly is this raffle going to go? Is it going to be a kind of silent auction, but with tickets, with all the donations parted out into small groups of stuff? I have the feeling lots of people are bringing lots of things...

Checking on the weather it looks like its going to hold out nicely for us

Still showing a less than 10% chance of rain, sunny highs in the 80's, but for those of you who gets cold quickly BRING A JACKET !!  its going to get down to about the low 60's that evening.

I will see about brining a blanket because I know someone is going to be asking for one.

Loopy is going to head up the raffle & Megan & I will help.  

If run like Bunny/guinea pig shows  -- buy a ticket[s], put in bag in front of item you want & draw.   Fun to see everyone get items in the area they are interested.

Moves fast.  so say you want Meg's cookies   [FL]   LOL     you can add more tickets which makes the club more money.   That is the goal.

Exactly! That's how we do it at rabbit shows and it gets really competitive! You can see how many tickets are in each bag so you can kinda get an idea of how many to put in there to have a better chance of winning!! It is a lot of fun though--don't be worried Tiapan!! LOL

I say we put the raffle inside so we don't take up space for people to sit...and also in case of rain we won't have to move anything! I'll see where Mike might want to put it on Friday so that we will kinda be out of the way of traffic through the store. Is anyone bringing a table/tables for the raffle? It seems like we will be having a lot of items!! I'm so excited!!

Depending on what is donated we may as an option go ahead and group some like items together, like a basket without the basket.  

We might entertain a mini Auction as well.

The one thing everyone can count on is fun!  With Mike there, that is a guarantee!  We all know Mike is a party animal!

Wonderfull !!   this will be great.

More goodies -- the better.    Some I have been to & helped @ people have been pretty creative.   From nice potted plants ,  gift certificates,  gift baskets as well as things the club members really enjoyed since some partners are not as FISHY as others.    
No names mentioned but will be bringing something for a cool "little" guy so his ticket will surely be a winner !!       Mike, that doesn't mean you!!   LOL         V

I can try to find some of those little, white, blank garage sale stickers to put on the items to number them--unless someone already has them! Those come in really handy to match the items with the bags to prevent confusion! Or, if someone has some extra sticky labels like you would print on...those would be useful too! Victoria, you are right! The more stuff the better!! I'm thinking that maybe we shouldn't combine items so that more people have a good chance of winning something! Hey also, what would y'all think of doing a 50/50? Just a suggestion!
