well people....i am exhausted just reading about everyone's deeds and duties. I think that what we have so far should be sufficient for the first meeting everyone.....sheesh.....let's see how this goes first and then we will have more fun to look forward to at future meetings and club events.....of course this is my humble opinion....I'm so amazed at everyone's jumping right in there attitude on this ....it's going to be a great meeting and raffle i totally believe....see ya'll friday......

I really enjoy reading how excited everyone is about this meeting/social event.  

Chris, the part I mentioned a mini-auction is just a thought.  I think the Raffle is the best way to go, but it sounds like if everyone brings what they have already mentioned, we might have a few extra items to auction off.  That would really depend on what and who shows up.

indeed....appreciated....isn't it exciting just how this is going in such a positive direction....i already knew that everyone on the box was unique.....it's just a cemented fact that is showing now....cuddo's to all of you......it's going to be a great meeting, raffle, mini auction(if any).....and most of all....the togetherness for a passion we all share....yeppers it's so exciting.....

Yay! I'm so excited!!! Fishlady, I think that some clubs would kill for this kind of unity and volunteering!! The worst problem with a lot of clubs that I have seen is that no one wants to step up and help out and the officers have to do all of the work themselves and have no fun. I'm so glad that everyone is pitching in though! Hopefully we will have a pretty good turn-out and LOTS of donations!!!

If everyone would copy and paste the list and add what y'all are bringing that would be great! Thanks to everyone who is contributing!!!

I cant decide whether to bring one type of plant or do kinda like a starter sampler pack with some vals/najas grass/xmas moss/ and a small java fern or something like that, opinions?

David, I would think a mix would be nice.  It would be nice to have each bagged seperately and labeled for those of us that don't know plants that well.

loopy you are so right....and i am so enthralled at everyone's participation and cooperation in all this .....i think this club has a great future indeed....and i thank each and everyone of you for all your efforts thus far.....looking forward to the meeting big time...

OK, I went to Walmart tonight and got some labels for the raffle stuff... I have also harvested a pretty good number of MTS off the walls of my new aquarium to put into the raffle as a kind of starter colony if anyone is interested!! They sure can move!! By the time I had gotten all of the ones on the wall and bagged them up, I looked over and the walls were covered with them again!!! Maybe I have an infestation...oh well, I love em!! LOL!
