  • September meeting

I apologize for not organizing one this month. If somebody wants to host, speak up!

What do y'all think about an informal (as in not officially club-related) St. Arnold's Brewery Tour sometime? Here is the info taken off the website . . .

    SATURDAYS: 11AM – 2PMAdmission: $7/person: Includes tour & souvenir glass
We will admit guests between 11:00AM and 2:00PM.
    Tours at Noon, 1PM, 2PM

Saturday tours can be large, and our official capacity is limited. Sometimes we will have lines to rotate people through all day, so as many people can visit as possible.

We have a parking lot at the northwest corner of the brewery as well as street parking.

    No reservations necessary!

You are welcome to bring snacks or a lunch and remember to bring your six-pack carriers to be recycled! Children are welcome at the brewery but all minors under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All guests over age 15 are $7.
    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I would, but am offshore next weekend. We are having a get together at our place on Saturday for Dart frog/vivarium/terrarium folks and GHAC folk are more then welcome. We will be doing a Heights area plant store tour earlier in the day and ending up out here in Spring for grilling. Just hit me up if anyone is interested and feel free to buy/sell/trade/ect.

its a pretty good tour, best when the winter brews start coming out IMO. i would go if i am available but that time frame is pretty tough for me since the kids are normally running around doing something in the afternoon. i would love to recycle my 6 pack carriers if the damned things didnt fall apart due to the slightest drop of moisture.

                      September meeting

I wish I could host but I'm home in California most of the month visiting the folks. Hopefully next month or in November!
