Next friday night meeting, im going 2920 to stuebner and coming south. It takes way too long going 1960, and im sure beltway 8 to veterans isnt much better ether?

I could possibly live further away from Mike's (    ), but since I live at Hillcroft and S. Braeswood, I take 610 north to 45 North, take Kuykendal to 1960, then go to Stuebner-Airline.
It's all bad traffic no matter how I go.

610 to 290, Hwy 8 to the cross streets, is the only route I could figure out to Roy and Heidi's.
Deja Vu nightmare traffic.
Oh,well...I'm unemployed now, what else do I have to do with my time?

Philbert I know how you feel that is why I just spend the money on Hardy toll road so I not have to spend hours on 45.

i am just leavin early to set up, and hopefully beat most of the traffic, also i can definately bring my mac and cheese, so thats all good, i will just have to throw it in the oven at Roy's place, Let me know if that is gonna be a problem ok doesnt take but like 20-30 minutes to heat up. and im excited too. Philbert i know how u feel about distance and all, i ddnt make a lot of the LHA meetings because they were so far out and because of when i got off work on friday, Truth is there is never gonna be a time that works for everyone, like i know i will probably not make it to an auction at all in the next year or two because i Always have to work the weekends, both saturday and sunday. Because those are the days most everyone else has off so they have time to come to a training class :wink:  anyway just remmember all the good food and cheer waiting for you when u arrive and a cool beverage of whatever u choose to help relax, and then there is even a pool to soak you tired feet in, how could it get any better. oh yeah the people there are alright too.

Party time is upon us!  

Be sure to Map or Google the address and take down Roy's number if you get lost.  Official start time is 7:30pm but I know people will trickle in.  Keep in mind all the traffic around that time, so try to set out early.

I want to give everyone time to arrive before we start the Elephant gift exchange, but we need to start that sometime within reason too.  The Gift Exchange will take some time, at least an hour.  So I'm thinking around 8:30pm.  

Please give me a call if you can't come at the last minute or if you can.

I guess I won't  bring any Tecate Beer; it's no good without the lime(y)!

I guess I have to make the rush hour run, too many not coming and there's all them vittles to be consumed!

OK Everyone, we're ready - pool and jacquzzi are at 90 degrees. Who cares what the outside temperature is!

Turkey, Brisket, Ham, Stuffing, Gravy and Cranberries will be ready ON TIME!  Hope somebody brings beverages!

BTW - We have 2 large 18" plecos that need a new home - 1 Chocolate and 1 Sailfin - they can go together or seperately. No charge just a good home - Bring Your Own Bucket(s).

Plenty of parking in the cul de sac - the house accross the street is empty - it has the for sale sign - you can also park in that driveway - please do not park in the house next doors driveway - he is not friendly!

We are smokers so we have a large smoking area on the patio - sorry, no smoking inside the house.
