well i have to say it was a fun evening again.....the mini auction was a sucess in itself...
i want to thank Roy and Heidi once again for their hospitality in allowing us to invade their beautiful home with our antics..
it was nice having new faces turn out as well.....nice to have met Jstrider, terrybo, shelly, and oh please forgive me for forgetting j's girlfriend's name...i'm old...
It was a blast....
Thanks philbert for the fishies....the 2 didn't make the trip for they crossed over before getting them home....but the rest are settling into their new home as i type....
so thanks everyone, including you Traci...for the nano.....i really appreciated you bringing it to me.....i can't wait to get it into play in the tank.....
hope everyone has/had a safe trip home.....

Spot...I forgot to thank you specifically for the Red Platys...thanks! The Sailfins are right at home, and the male is busy being pursued by just about every male in the tank. He'll get some rest tomorrow. They are nice fish.
Brownsnoutuk...the Angels are settled in, and are so beautiful; I really like them!
justdoit...the Corys are busy eating, but if they were able to I'm sure they'd let out a loud "O-Tay"!
Fishlady...I'm sure I'll be getting a visit soon from the FPS! I am glad you got the Marbled male, sorry about the fish slaughter!
It was nice to see everyone again; especially all the beautiful women and a-dorable kids! I forgive those who outbid me...I didn't really want a Leopard Pleco, or Cherry Shrimp (not big enough to eat, anyway)! See ya'll next time!

Megan's little cray seems happy in his Motel 6 till she sets up it's tank today - BIG thanks to Spike for sharing.

I had fun last night, it was a great turn out despite the weather. My cories are lovin their 10 gal,they are cruzin around today. The cray went in there & hung out last night but has found a really good hiding spot today, cant see him anywhere w/ all the plants driftwood & rocks   . Thanks to Meg for spliting them w/ me, I only wanted 1 anyway. Looking forward to the future!!

That was a long meeting last night...We are still recovering from the lack of sleep...you know how it is with old people... you all were perfect "guests" there was nothing left but foot steps in the sand...(for you young people...that was an old Dead expression)...

Anyway, Roy and I enjoyed everybody's company and had a great time, too...lots of good munchies...didn't get any of Megan's cookies, though...

This is such a great way of socializing with other (Fish) addicts and we didn't even have to leave the house...you are all welcome to come back anytime...

As the weather gets nicer we can be outside again and us smokers don't have to freeze our buns off outside...

...we only had one leftover item...two sippy cups (brandnew ones) from Scoobie's kids, I think...

David you were a great auctioneer!  I think everybody had fun, including the "wee" ones...let's do it again real soon...

Gotta catch up on that sleep now...    8) Heidi

Both my kids brought the fish cups they got home and have been drinking EVERYTHING out of them!! LoL  They wont even look twice at a normal cup.  The two that were left are new and can be given to other children.

I'm glad the kids loved the cups.....i thought they were so cool....but then again i'm strange too....lol....
Heidi we can save those for the next meeting for the kids......they can have a new one...lol.....

That sounds like age discrimination to me...I would enjoy my own personal "Sippy Cup".
As a matter of fact, the GHAC Official Sippy Cup should be considered at the next meeting, a fish shaped spill proof liquid container to ensure non-discharge of valulable libations.
