I've never held a grudge against a club either. I have said things maybe about certain aspects of a club or something that in particular I didn't like. But I believe that it can be shown from my record that I've always thrown out my support when I could...TCA, HCCC, HLA, HAS, FOTAS, BVAS, ALA, ACA...just to name a few. It seems that certain people have an axe to grind with HAS. One I sort of understand, even though I disagree with the reasons. As to the rest...I've never understood the reason. But I've always tried to remain cordial and helpful and will continue to do so.

I agree, I have seen grudges against HAS and all of it is childish.

It might be me just thinking out loud but having the N.Tx guys come down with their cool stuff along with the Steak dinner is gonna be hard to beat.

I'm sure that HAS's first auction was not as nice as it is now.  How old is HAS compared to GHAC again?  Heck, I'm gonna eat some steak come March.

Hello Charles,  you and Marion (sp?) are most welcome to join us this Sunday...we're right off the Beltway 8 up by the racetrack...easy to find...it would be fun to see y'all again...but be warned:  ALL of our meetings turn into parties...and we have lots of fun       Heidi

Nick,

Non-members will be welcome to sell and buy.  

There will be more details about the auction soon.  It will run pretty much the same as HAS and HLA.  An auction is an auction, we are not gonna try to re-invent the wheel.  Our mini-auctions at the meeting is open to non-members.  Only members can sell, but anyone can buy.

You do not have to be a member to attend a meeting.  How else will you know what we are like before joining?

I got a self-reproducing mangrove killifish. Not particularly colorful, but an interesting fish!
