    January GHAC Newsletter

    Happy New Year! Here is the January 2015 GHAC Newsletter. If you have any articles, breeding to report, or hobbyist news you'd like to share just let me or any of the officers know and we will get it in the next issue. Happy Fishkeeping All!

      Your welcome, happy to do it. Its a lot of fun and helps keep everyone active with ideas and what some of us have seen locally that is fun and interesting. I am always amazed at what our local stores can bring in. All the older copies og the newsletter are on the Facebook group and here as well. Sunny and Rob even made this one!

        I agree! Local fish stores do bring in some great fishes and more. Since 2011, I have been getting my fish from Don. He brings in fish no one else in Houston can get. He has got me some amazing things in the past. He even gave me a pair of Betta uberis (my favorite species of betta) as a Birthday gift once. He is such a great guy! I am looking forward to meeting you and everyone else!

          That is a nice B-Day present! I did an interview with Don in the August or September issue I think... one of those. Really was a fun time and looking forward to doing a few more with local folks we see at the local shops

            back in 2011 through 2013, I used to go to Fish Gallery several times a week. Don and I became great friends. He is by far one of the best people I have met. Every thing I learned about fish was because of him. As I have said on Facebook, he is the only guy I get my fish from.

              Yeah, I remember buying from him back at Village Tropical.... crazy how time passes. He is a great guy and fun to fish geek out with for sure

                I agree. We enjoyed talking about fish. We also talked about a lot of other things too, like film music and more. One of the many things I like about him is, if I wanted something, he'll get it for me.
