HI! As you can see, this is my first post on this forum. I have had a few tanks over the last 4 or 5 years, but due to moving out of state, I had to get rid of everything. Now that I have regained my mind and moved back to the Houston area, I am dying to get another tank and get it set up. I will be getting something in the 75-135 gallon range in the next few months and hopefully be stocking it with demasoni and yellow labs. Maybe, I will get lucky and by that time, someone on here will have fry of those types I can get from them. :) I would love to come out to the event you guys are having on the 7th, if anything just to make some new friends. I am sure seeing everything there tho will make me drive my poor wife even crazier about getting everything bought and set up.. ha ha I am also very interested in joining the club, but feel kinda strange doing so right now without even having a tank...lol

Re: Hello all!
Welcome back to Houston and welcome to the BOX!
You and your wife(family) are welcome to the Swap next week. We'd love to meet you and maybe you might find something you just can't live without... :)
The website is still not quite back to normal yet, but you can visit www.myghac.org and any of the officers would be happy to answer any questions you might have.Raul

Re: Hello all!
Welcome to the box :)
Dont worry --- joining the club just means you are on the right step to recovery. Soon you will join the rest of us in the Aquarium tanks anonymous, where we learn "how to cut back the number of tanks, but never succeed", and yes every room is another opportunity for a beautiful tank to replace furniture with. (see the geeks for the advanced course taught quarterly)
When you make it to the swap meet this next weekend -- take time and look at Tim and Fiona's tanks (they are the hosts of the swap meet) and you can really get an idea of what you want to do at your place. Tim is one of the best rock scape people I have come across.. He is a really good eye for that :)
Yellow labs -- Tim is the man.. I am sure once you see his tanks you will understand he can prolly set you up with a few fry from his stock...
Again welcome to the box :) This is a ton of fun to be here :)

Re: Hello all!
Wecome to the Box ! The best advice I can think of is to be sure and not slop too much water on the floor until you get all 4 of the tanks you want moved in and set up. That should keep your wife from changing her mind before it's too late.
PollyMY MANTRA: Yes, I CAN have too many fishtanks!
