Question about the meeting on Friday

Now that we had sometime to relax.

Would GHAC care to host other meetings at this location?

If so, what need to change to make the meeting better?

If not can someone explain why?

If given the chance would having the meeting at the pool seem feasble?

Bathroom access seemed to work out, but at times I think it got crowded.

Next time we need to bring some more chairs or couches.

We are need a full service bar, dancing girls, and pony rides for the kids.

Location was great for us...didn't have to fight traffic for once.  

I agree that we probably need a little more seating.  And it seemed as though we had some new faces -- was that due to the location being more central?

Wow - Geoff those are some GREAT ideas!!!  

I would LOVE to have more meetings there!!  The location is much better for people not on the north side.  The only thing I was worried about was we were too loud - but I guess not since there is a chance to have more meetings there.  Considering the size of the pool I think it could fit everyone LoL.  I know my kids had a lot of fun at the meeting as well.

Delock -- I would like to have another meeting there for sure.
Like Geoff said... if you had had access to 4413 (I think) the bathroom situation would have been perfect.

We would need to bring some more chairs...  If I had known I needed to bring one I would have brought a chair.. because seating was the only thing that was missing.
Smoking I think was okie.  It wasnt as bad as I had thought.

Parking wasn't as bad as it could have been.  I would recommend next time people park on the ramp on the way up to the 5th floor and walk back down to the 4th floor and enter the building there avoiding to have to take the elevator to the 4th floor.  

I would say yes for another meeting there again.

I've got to talk to the other officers, but doing another meeting at your place is a yes.  I can't say yet if it will be next month or the following month yet.  

To make it better?  

Seating is Number 1 on the list.
Tables (GHAC is set to buy a couple)
Where did those who smoke have to go?  Was it all the way back to the garage?

Drawbacks

It is a little ways from the garage to you apt. and club room.  

Question, is there a place to unload at the first floor of your building instead of lugging it two buildings over?

Is the pool inside or outside.  Is there a bathroom nearby?

We seen the pool - it's outside and it's BIG!!  Even has an area my kids could play in, which is nice.  

Seating is always an issue and I think if more people (myself included) brought their own chairs the problem would be sloved.  Before the next month I need to go and buy a couple folding chairs to use at the meetings.

Thanks for the hospitality Delock.  Your place is really cool.

I agree on the chairs issue, but that is something that people can also account for in preparing for a meeting.

Cool place, great space!  
I agree with everyone about seating, but access to an extra restroom would be a bonus too, cuz I know I wouldn't want to clean up after that many people drinking that much beer/mead/soda   Hopefully it wasn't too bad. No complaints from neighbors around the space (or below)?
How much Prime would we need to dechlorinate the pool and put in some cichlids?   :wink:
