What is DWFAPC? I assume the last part is Aquatic Plant Central? At first glance I thought it was Dallas, Fort Worth... but then looked closer...

          See everyone tomorrow.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I picked up Eric last night from the airport and he seems like a really cool guy! All the shrimp fanatics should make this one cause I have a feeling he has some good info to share

The presentation was great, and although I don't have a couple hundred dollars to spend per shrimp for some of those interesting variants of Sulawasi shrimp, I learned quite a bit. It makes me want to set up a shrimp tank. I kinda have one already (RCS with Albino LF BN), but want to get another one started from scratch. I've already enlisted the help of a NASH member... 8)

I enjoyed the mini-auction afterward with the plants. I added them to my only tank that has plants, and it came out looking like this:

I know I have a way to go, as far as plants go... but I'm learning.

Thanks again to Eric Do for the presentation, and to NASH for inviting GHAC to this event!

The plants were nice, but I have a brown thumb when it comes to plants, aquatic or otherwise.

Re: Fresh Water Invertebrates by Eric Do

I had a great time, and learned a lot.  I will be changing the way I do things with some of my tanks, and can't wait to see the results.

I picked up some great plants at the auction, and had to scramble to find tank space for them.  Can't wait to get my 75 gallon and get it set up properly!

I definitely have a bit extra as far as plants go, so if folks in my neighborhood wanted to grab a stem or two, pm me and I will see how much I can spare.  People have been really generous to me, so I want to give back :)

Thanks  NASH for inviting us to go, the presentation rocked!

                            What she said!

I was so happy that I made it.  I didn't think I was going to be able to, but my lovely family let me attend knowing we had a very busy schedule.

Thank you Luis for the club invite.

I wish I could have made the Killiefish meeting as well.  My family was not that generous with their time....    :(

Thank you so much guy’s I really appreciates taking the time of your busy weekend to join us. I think Eric presentation was outstanding and his photography was pretty cool as well.
We are changing the club little by little and soon hope to have good news. We are trying to bring a top of the line speaker if everything works out well.
Again thank you Raul, Tim and every body that helped with the presentation.
I am glad our clubs are getting along so well.

That was a great talk and the auction was a blast.  I like the bidding wars.
