With this being our first large-scale auction, many people may not know what to expect. I hope this quick little instruction manual will help each seller become more prepared for the auction. The more that you (the seller) do at home, the less you''l have to do once you arrive at the GHAC auction.
Wher should I start? Well, you shold probably create a list of what all you will be bringing. The GHAC has provided a seller's form for you to keep track of everything here. This form will include your name and information, along with a four digit alpha-numeric sequence. I chose TIMB. Choose whatever you like. This is going to be how items are distinguished in the auction.
Here is an example of a filled out form:

Next, you'll want to go through and mark everything with a corresponding four digit alpha-numeric sequence and item number. The item number will match the tiem number listed on the seller's form. For example my first item would be TIMB-1 and my seventeenth item would be TIMB-17. You can write directly on the object, or on a card, or sticky tag with a little bt about the item (what it is, how many fish there are, etc...). The auctioneer may not know as much about your item as you do, and this is your opportunity to explain what it is. Keep it short, though. There will be quite a few items at the auction!
I've taken the liberty to both write directly on the bag, and write on attached index card:

One recommendation when writing, use a pen or marker that doesn't smear if it were to get wet... Fish live in water after all.
I hope this is helpful information to sellers. If anyone wants to chime in with their two cents, feel free.
Regards,
Tim Bell
