Pics from the Briarmeadow Aquarium Club Roundup

On November 8, from 11-2, the Briarmeadow Aquarium Club hosted its first aquarium round-up. It was an open invitation to all aquarium clubs in the city of Houston to meet children interested in the hobby and to network with interested educators.

Each club was asked to staff a table/booth with information and a sign-up for interested students. Also, they were asked to sponsor a thirty to forty minute presentation on the hobby geared towards kids.

GHAC participated and we look forward to the next one.  We presented a PowerPoint presentation entitled "Aquarium Setup and Fish Selection".  We also enjoyed seeing representation by the Houston LiveBearer's Association.

Nice to see GHAC there. I had to work today. I have known Frank since 1989 from UH, so glad our group was able to help out!

Awesome guys :)   I apologies for not being able to make this function, but that weekend I had made prior plans for several weeks in advance.
I am truly glad to see you guys doing a great job on this :)
