Hey, nice to know about the name tags. I'd like to try and spot as many new 'aquaintances' as I can, even if I do have a better memory for pets than people.

Is everything at the auction auctioned, or are some items and fish just priced and sold ?  Seems like it could take a long time to auction everything.

Oh, I'm going to get in so much trouble !

Fishysue: glad you found a stand that is a better fit.
MY MANTRA: Yes, I CAN have too many fishtanks!

                        Re: HAS Auction

                        Got a question.

How have people brought crayfish to the auction to sell?  I don't think bagging them will work when they are 3-4 inches because of there pinchers.

Open stryofoam coolers with a little water?  Clear plastic containers?

                        Thanks

                          Re: HAS Auction

Humm, I see where double bagging might not even be a safe way to go.  I haven't seen crays at the auction before, but then they're not something I usually look for.  I'll bet they'll be very popular!  I would suggest using one of those throw away plastic containers by Glad or similiar .  You know, the ones you're supposed to throw away after you use them but become as bad as tupperware and collect everywhere

Just remember if you bring them in a nice container the high bidder will expect the container to be included in the bid price   .

Edit:  Now that I think about it I do remember seeing crays there before, but for the life of me I can't remember how they were packaged.

Are there any petros or tropheus that make it to the HAS auction?

Thanks Nancy.  I was thinking something along those lines, but I didn't know if that would be appropriate for the Auction.

They had crayfish at the last auction, but I, too, can't remember how they were "bagged".
