'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Nick, I'm sorry to say there weren't any pleco bidding wars......
there were some bidding wars, but not for the tiny pleco's....
Seemed to me that everyone was just having a great time and getting to take home all the things they wanted..... :)
so see....your absence was felt by all, even the tiniest of fishies..... :(
glad to hear that madonna was a big hit for ya though..... :)
I'm very very pleased with one of my many "mystery" fishies that I came home with last night. I don't know what kind of fish it is, but it was very dull and bland looking when I got it home and stuck it in my community tank to acclimate.
After floating for about 20 minutes, I released it into the community, I fed them all at the same time and the new arrival just slowly sank to the bottom.
I was not very optomistic about his chances at this point, after all I figure he had been in that bag for over 12 hours most likely...and he was not looking very good at this point.
I went on to other fishies that I had floating and released them and watched them all for a short time....thankfully, I did not lose any of my new fishies....Most of them swam off and hid in rocks or just starting swimming about like they belonged in the tank.
Well, I went back to the "big kids" community tank and was expecting to see one very sick or distressed fish, but I could not find him. He was gone....???
I eventually found him, he had revived fully and was displaying a dark rich midnight blue body with red highlighted fins....He was stunning....gorgeous....a night and day difference in the short time of 30 minutes since I had walked away from the tank earlier......
It just goes to show you, You never know, what you're going to come home with after one of these auctions.....
I'll get a picture of him up soon....and I have the bag in the den, so I'll be able to share the species with you all...
