I refuse to use copper in my tanks.

Not only is the stuff nasty but I have tons of other snails in the tank that I do not want harmed. The MTS issue is not really that big of a deal to me as it is to some of the others.

Well I got a good deal on some more of these Botia Lochata so I went and got 7 of them.

Guess what I didn't see last night..... MTS!!

The troph fry have always been left to fend for themselves and it's always been survival of the fittest.

I have pulled like 150 fry since I have moved to this new place so I guess whatever I throw in the tank they aren't bothered. With the 7 Botia I have 2 batches of tiny fry from two females swimming around.

I had one botia in there a day after the other two got swallowed whole by the trophs.

I got a deal on 6 more right before the meeting and threw them into the tank before we left for the meeting.
