    Re: Starting a tropheus tank

I definitely like the two rock piles better than the three. It seems like you are setting up a new tank every month!!! The tank looks great. Congrats on the tropheus. I'm thinking about adding a couple dozen to my tank as well.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

      Tim, do it!

They are crazy! When I first got them I watched them run around and I got so dizzy I passed out.

Think I'm gonna upgrade my moba tank so I can use it for more tropheus! I've got breeding action going and there's a female holding already!

them thinking it's feeding time, which they think is all day long

I'll take some more tomorrow, they are sleeping right now and I don't wanna wake them up.

I'm interested in Golden Kazumba, or Moliro Reds.

                          Thanks for the comments.

These are Ilangi's but they are suppose to lose the stripes and have yellow sides. I agree that the juvenile stage of the dubs are cool looking.

rrocket, I don't know anyone close by with GK's but last time I was at fishranch he had a some Moliro's.

Thanks, but not nearly enough for a colony.  I've got a line on some if I want them shipped, but would rather find some locally.

Did you lose any of them since you got them, or have they all been healthy and happy?

                                Re: Starting a tropheus tank

So far they have not lived up to their reputation of being the fragile fish that the net makes them to be.

I have not lost any yet and dont plan to, knock on wood.
