I've had this guy for a long time. I always thought it was Tembwe Silver, but the more I take pictures - I think it is Famula Gold. What's your opinion?

Actually after looking thru all the "Cool Petro Links" Sticky...
This guy lips are closed all the way like famula, fasciolatus, and Trew's all do. Its not like the others whose lips are like so big they dont close all the way.
I would go with Famula Silver from Tembwe?380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand

Here are 2 close ups:
I had another one but it was no where near as pretty. The guy that bought my canary cheeks said he had a group that looked just like it, so I gave it to him. That was several years ago. I looked back and found that I've had this fish since July 2006. To this day, I don't think they were the same fish.300+RR (8-10 ft x 30"x30") - Waiting to find it... Lake Tanganyikan

The facial markings is what is throwing me off....
I agree famula in terms of the head structure... but not the markings on the face. The body markings match famula as well.
It's probably some weird famula variant. really pretty one too !
Have you tried any of the european sites to see if they have seen something like this?
