The current ratio is 4males and 9females. THe largest male does 80% of the breeding, but there is one other one that gets too every once in awhile. The last two males are the smallest in the colony so they are just swimmers for now. If they get bigger and mess with the colony...I may have to pull them, but for now all is good in the tank.

I feed a whole bunch of pellets mixed together...and the list goes
1mm NLS Cichlid formula (sinking)
1mm NLS Thera+A (sinking)
Baby Dainichi Veggie Deluxe (sinking)
Baby Dainichi Veggie FX (sinking)
Medium Dainichi Color Supreme (floating)
Medium Hikari Cichlid Excel (floating)

Total Petro Rainbow Macro fry from this tank=23
I pulled out 8 petro fry today during a water change. Mom was about a week or so from letting them go herself, so I just went ahead and stripped her. These petros start losing weight really quick while holding so I try and give them a break after about 2 weeks or so. Puts me up to 10 total petro fry on hand at the moment. these are all on hold for the time being though.250gallon-Wild Angels, communityComment
