  • Updated shot of the tank...I added about 80lbs more rock from the last pic of the tank, and also added the LED lights.

      It's real natrual man.

Yeah, its gonna be black, but not till I decide if im gonna move again or not. If I can get it drilled and all the tubes go away...I would leave it the way it is. Its brighter that way.

            • Also, the canopy for this tank has been ordered and paid for already...It will stand 24" tall...making the whole setup just over 7ft tall!!! I got a fund going right now for some vortechs as well...saying good bye to the softball Koralia's!

                • I was thinking of getting some of these lights too. But in my mind, if I made a Canopy for them, it would be just a few inches high to cover lights and whatever else sticks above the glass.

                  • I just noticed I need to update this journal a little bit. No pics right now but I will get some soon. Just letting people know that I will be selling the glass ONLY from this setup in the next month or so...gonna upgrade to an 8'x2'x30" (300gallon). If anyone is interested in this tank just pm me...this is NOT a for sale thread so no need to put this in the Buy/Sell forum. Just a notice for potential buyers.

                            • Here is an updated shot...sorry, the lens had water spots on it. next move is to replace this tank for a taller one and have it drilled so all the green tubes go away.
