not to shabby. i'm gonna come take a bath in it tomorrow. With a tank that sized i'd keep a mermaid in it. She'd be there everyday looking all sexy at you but you know you shouldnt do anything with her cuz....what would your kids look like? I mean, yeah, she's hot, but its just wrong. You're just sitting there eating dinner or watching TV and she's all like "come on, Randall. You know you want to" and you'll be all like, "no Sandrina, i cant....i just cant" and you go turn the lights off so you cant see her anymore, but you know she's there....all half naked with her coconut thingies and her fins.....
Then, when you wake up in the morning and you turn the lights on to feed her, she's all looking at you all sexy again blowing kisses at you and stuff. You'll be all like "Tiffany will be up any minute, you have to stop this" and she'll be all like "I wont tell if you dont" and the thought will cross your mind to jump in there real quick and do stuff but then Tiffany wakes up and she's all like, "What's going on out here? I thought i heard you talking" and then you'll lie, "No Tiffany, nobody's talking" and then Sandrina will start splashing around making things even more uncomfortable for you so you turn the lights off again and when you go lay your head down at night to go to sleep you have inappropriate dreams about you and your mermaid and you wake up sweating and you cant go back to sleep and then you're driving to work and you haven't slept and your concentration is all off and you run into a ditch and your car explodes.....

Screw that, i'm never getting a mermaid.

By they way, I'll just drop off that temp controller the day of the tour. Unless you going to be free any time soon before the tank tour.

I really wanted to set it up and do all the wiring to make it look nice for the tour but....it's whatever.

Here is another update on the tank...before anybody says anything about using slate and poo getting trapped in the cracks....save it as I am already aware of this. My goal was for your eye to go from left to right minus the ugly tube filling the tank up. This is the same rock Delock tried in his tank a while back.

just put my chimba in the tank. they started going at it as soon as they hit the water! I made a big mistake though, I had an extra Tret in one of my tanks and I used him as a test fish to make sure the water was ok...the plan was to pull him out before adding rock or other fish. well he must of been hiding last night when I added the rocks cause i just noticed that I left him in the tank and there is no way in hell im removing the rocks again!

What type of lights do those of you who own a 7ft'r use?

I have one 6 footer with metal halides, one 6 footer with PC's, and my 8 footer currently has a 4 foot PC, but that is about to change to MH's.

Personally i like the coralife pro 6ft with the suspension kit, comes with 4x96w PCs and 3 x150w or 250w MH and 4 lunar ligths.

yeah, that's the one on my 215 (250w's). i got the elite series for my 300 gallon. gonna suspend that badboy from my ceiling.
