  • Petrochromis Yellow Moshi - Spawning

Check out how this female's color changes like crazy during the breeding process. Sorry for how long this is, I was going to edit it some, but then I remembered how lazy I am...

12 moshi. Rocks are to go in there whenever I have time (they're laying right next to the tank). Maybe this week. Yep, 300 gallon. I have 2 males that go at it like crazy and turn from dark brown to bright yellow. Moshi are just awesome IMO.

do you think by putting the rock in there, you might cause the aggression levels to go up.i have rock in with my killers and the aggression is off the charts!i may go with a no rock tank myself!i know the european's have little or no rock work, and it seems to work for them!
                          petro crazy!!!

I had rock in the tank before, but I removed it to add more moshi and to add the moops and emperors. The aggression was actually not too bad. We shall see how it turns out soon. Plus, the tank looks SICK with the holey rock in there (yeah, I swore I wouldn't use the stuff either).
