I did that at first but I decided to put both on the overflow side and then I have a eheim 2262 kinda pointed the opposite way (drilled on the bottom) along with my K4. Seems to work alright for now. Plus, I'd rather have those big ugly things kinda hidden next to the black acrylic overflow. The flow is sick. Y'all notice the moshi holding? I believe she's one of a couple holding right now.

Geoff, I'm definitely looking to get rid of my MJ's. Gonna stick with vortechs, tunzes, and koralias for now. Send me a PM and lemme know what you need. I have everything from the large magnets, to the sure flow mod kits and ecosystem mod kits, to the powerheads themselves.

The EcoMods are junk, the Sureflows are good. I would want the magnet holders, and the sureflow mod kits.

Randal a Sureflow Mod on a MaxJet 1200 is 2100 gph, a Koralia 4 only flows 1200 gph.

The EcoMods flow up to 10 times more which on a MaxJet 1200, that would be 2,950 gph. But what I have seen around town is the Ecomods dont hold up, they come apart.

Maybee Peter has had some succes with the Ecomods, but others have them tiewrapped together becuase they feel apart.

Both had incredible flow and both had there downfalls for me. The tunzes are friggin awesome! But, they cost, too.

I can't remember which one it was, but one of the 4 that I had running wanted to vibrate loose every couple of days, which was very annoying. I think fshfrk had a solution to that. A couple of them seemed noisier than what I wanted, also.
